Jacek’s career as a master carpenter began in Poland, where he apprenticed under his father, a highly respected local woodworker. Discovering a lifelong passion for custom carpentry at an early age, Jacek relocated to New York City at 18 to expand his expertise. He mastered complementary construction trades—including concrete, tile installation, metal framing, and drywall—before returning to his true calling of woodworking. His meticulous craftsmanship soon led to major commercial and residential contracting projects across Manhattan and West Point.
In 2006, Jacek and his wife, Ewa, traded northern winters for the Florida sunshine and relocated to Jacksonville, FL. He quickly took on a lead role executing high-end home remodeling projects for prominent clients in prestigious communities, including TPC, Sawgrass Country Club, Jacksonville Country Club, and Marsh Landing Country Club. That same year, he founded Jacek’s Carpentry, a premier local contractor focused on residential upgrades, custom woodwork, and comprehensive kitchen and bathroom renovations.
Building on decades of industry experience, Jacek launched Empire Kitchen & Bath in April 2022 to help homeowners throughout Jacksonville, FL, build their dream kitchens and bathrooms. Leveraging a vast network of premium US-based and imported cabinet vendors, he ensures every kitchen and bath remodel features top-tier materials. Under Jacek’s leadership, the company provides custom-designed remodeling solutions, utilizes high-quality products, and guarantees fast, professional installation for every project.
When he is not managing custom home renovations, Jacek enjoys taking advantage of Northeast Florida’s coastal lifestyle through kayaking and fishing.
